The Young Lions Program is built on a progressive curriculum that ensures every child receives age-appropriate instruction. From foundational movement to advanced technical skills, our classes instill physical fitness, mental discipline, and self-confidence, preparing them for success both inside and outside the ring.

This class is designed to introduce the basics of fitness and boxing in a supportive, play-based environment. We focus on enhancing fundamental movement, hand-eye coordination, balance, and listening skills. Drills incorporate obstacle courses, boxing games, and simple pad work to keep the class fast-paced and fun. There is no contact or sparring in the Cubs class; the emphasis is entirely on channeling energy, building muscle memory, and learning respect for the coaches and classmates.

As children mature, this class shifts focus to mastering technical boxing skills, defensive footwork, and core conditioning. We move beyond games and introduce structured heavy bag work, advanced partner drills, and shadowboxing. Once students demonstrate sufficient control and technique, they may participate in light, highly-supervised technical sparring, which is always voluntary and requires full protective gear. This stage teaches responsible contact, ring intelligence, and the self-control required to perform under pressure.
